Jillz Day Care Nursery “The Butterfly Garden”
Jillz Day Care Nursery “The Butterfly Garden” is a lovely, intimate nursery in Amstelveen that provides an excellent home-from-home for your child. The children are looked after in safe, stimulating surroundings where they can enjoy themselves as they are growing up and developing. Much attention is given to quality and care in order to make this achievable. Jillz adheres to an extensive educational policy with the main focus being the social and physical development of the children.
A great many activities are organised both within and outside of the nursery. You can also count on a healthy diet and hygienic surroundings for your child, with a steady, regular, daily routine.
One of our policies is that we like to have 4 members of staff for each group every day. It could well be that this isn’t always possible, through things like staff illness or holiday leave, but we always do our best to make sure that it is so. In this way the children can be properly looked after, they get a lot of personal attention and they get to do a lot of different things. Our entire nursery staff complies with the standards set by the Collective Labour Agreement for nurseries and they have a professional and open work ethic. They are loving and spontaneous towards the children, making them feel safe and secure.
Jillz also works together with the KindZijn After-School Organisation and we provide a pick-up service from KindZijn to Jillz. Thereby, parents with a child at Jillz and a child at KindZijn are able to pick both of their children up from Jillz Day Care Nursery.
Jillz Day Care Nursery guarantees the provision of excellent, stress-free child care.

Our Educational Policy Plan describes Jillz Day Care Nursery’s concept of how children develop and the role that the nursery plays in this development. Our policy plan is based on the concepts formed by the leading educators Thomas Gordon, Reggio Emilia and Maria Montessori, whereby children are stimulated and enticed into developing their imagination. The full plan and our protocol are available and open to everyone at our office.
Jillz has an active Parent Committee; the members help out with various activities and take on an advisory role. You are very welcome to contact someone from the committee by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
